Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter Account Is Permanently Removed After the Controversial Tweet
The Twitter Account of Actress Kangana Ranaut has been permanently suspended because of a controversial tweet that was posted after the election results in Bengal. The social media site said today: "hateful conduct and abusive behavior". Twitter also stated that the actor's account had repeatedly disobeyed the policies of Twitter.
On the other hand, the actor accused Twitter of race bias. She also said to the news agency of ANI: "I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema."
In the tweet which has been appeared to have encouraged this action, the actor was seen referring to the words like 'tame' and 'Virat Roop' as she urged PM Modi to ‘tame’ Mamata Bannerjee using all his “Virat roop” from “early 2000’s” in West Bengal.
The actress has previously also caused quite a stir with controversial statements and tweets.
“We’ve been so clear that we will take clear strong action on the behavior that has been the potential to lead offline harm. The account which has been referring it has been permanently suspended for the same repeated violations which were against the Twitter rules specifically our hateful conduct policies and abusive behavior policy,” a twitter spoken person told, also adding that the rules have been applied judiciously and not partial to anyone.
“As also explained in our abusive behavior policy, you should not involve in the targeted harassment of someone or anyone, or encourage some other people to do the same. We can consider abusive behavior as an attempt to harass, intimidate, or making someone’s voice down.”
An actor has also posted a complaint on her Instagram account earlier today.
The actor was seen teary-eyed and angry while speaking about “disturbing news, videos, and photos of the people from West Bengal who has been murdered, gang-raped and also their homes have been burnt”. She has also called for President’s rules in the states, criticizing a “government that I support” for not doing anything more than any sort of dharnas in response to these clashes.
