Ajay Devgan Joining Hands With BMC, Hinduja Hospital For Setting Up Covid-19 ICU Beds In Shivaji Park At Mumbai

Filmmaker and actor Ajay Devgan has been working hard with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to give all sorts of medical facilities for Mumbaikars affected by Covid-19.

Ajay Devgn has been joining hands with Hinduja and BMC Hospital to set up ICU (Intensive Care Unit) beds.

As BMC commissioners, corporators, and all other frontline workers are also working seamlessly and all day long on ground zero, round the clock to monitor and manage all the services available, Devgan is also working with them hand in hand very closely by doing his bit. This time around, the Tanhaji actor, producer, and all of his esteemed colleagues from the film fraternity have also been stepped ahead and have been helping the BMC to set up all emergency medical units in Shivaji Park Mumbai.

“It will be an extension of Hinduja Hospital,” said COO, Joy Chakraborty making sure that they will also provide food, linen, medicine, and manpower as well to this emergency unit.

Praising the Singham actor’s efforts to help all the people in this pandemic, local Shiv Sena corporator Vishaka Raut told that “It’s great that Ajay Devgn supporting BMC.”

Local news reporters have reported that BMC has turned into Bharat scouts & Guides halls at Shivaji park to 20-bed Covid-19 facilities with ventilators, oxygen support, and para monitors. Devgn has been trying provide support by providing resources to the organization by his social service wing NY foundations.

Sources reported that besides the Ishq actor, filmmakers Anand Pandit, Boney Kapoor, Luv Ranjan, Rajneesh Khanuja, Leena Yadav and Ashim Bajaj; OTT giants, Sameer Nair (Applause), Deepak Dhar & Rishi Negi (Banijay Asia, Seven Tauras Entertainment Private Limited), entrepreneur Tarun Rathi and Director R P Yadav reportedly made a good contribution of more than Rs. 1 Crore to the smiley account which is one of the best business development cells of the BMC.
