Superstar Anupam Kher Was Honoured With The Best Actor's Award At New York City International Film Festival
"Happy Birthday", directed by Prasad Kadam starring Aahana Kumra and Anupam Kher.
The film won the Best Short Film Award as well as helped Anupam Kher to won the title of Best Actor's Award at International Film Festival.
The movie received outstanding reviews from the audience as well as the critics.
Anupam Kher said about this win: "Thank you New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) for this great honor. It's humbling to be declared the Best Actor in this prestigious film festival. The credit goes to the whole young team of 'Happy Birthday' and my co-actor Aahana Kumra, thanks to the director Prasad Kadam, and the rest team."
Girish Johar (co-producer of the film) said: "It's really overwhelming to receive these two awards at an International Film Festival!! Anupam Sir is a global icon, the more we say, it always falls short. He is pure GENIUS. Ahaana, a nominee for the best actress did exceptionally well."
He added: "Also Prasad is an extremely talented director and was also nominated for best director! He knows his craft fully and has a great future. He has done wonders and will go places. So excited for receiving this honor with the well-knitted Happy Birthday team."

Before featuring in the 2019 movie, Happy Birthday has marked Anupam and Ahana's second collaboration. The accidental prime minister.
