Prasidh Krishna Has Been Also Tested Positive For Covid-19, He Is The Fourth Player From Kolkata Knight Riders Camp: IPL 2021
India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) fast bowler Prasidh Krishna have tested positive as well for the Covid-19 test. Prasidh Krishna has become the fourth player from the KKR camp for being positive for Covid-19 after Varun Chakravarthy, Sandeep Warrier, and Tim Seifert.

It is been already understood that Prasidh Krishna has done all the tests before he came out of the IPL Bio-Bubble in Ahmedabad, where the KKR was playing the second leg, before returning to his hometown at Bengaluru. ESPN Cricinfo also informed that Prasidh Krishna has also had a flight on 5th May from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru in a business class on a commercial airline, and also got his tests done after he felt uneasy on 6th May. It is guessed that he may have contracted the disease while traveling to Bangalore. Though his fans can stay as it is just a minor case.
This Friday, the BCCI has announced the name of Prasidh Krishna among those four players for the world test championship finals and the test series in England.
Prasidh Krishna, 25, has made his debut early this year in the One Day International series in Pune against England and has got 6 good wickets in three matches.
Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were the first two players who have been tested positive for the Covid-19 test not only in the Kolkata Knight Rider’s camp but also in the whole bubble of IPL 2021. Which is been postponed indefinitely. It has later emerged that Wriddhiman Saha of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Amit Mishra of the Delhi Capitals have also been tested positive for Covid-19 among those players.
This Saturday, New Zealand Cricket has also announced that Tim Seifert has also been tested positive for Covid-19 and will be staying back to India in quarantine before ha fly back to New Zealand.
Prasidh Krishna is praying to recover soon so that he can be in the bubble by the Indian side, which is also expected to fly to the UK on 2nd June. Prasidh Krishna, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Avesh Khan, and Arzan Nagwaswalla were being in the four standby players whose names have been selected by the selectors as a part of the expanded squad that will stay in the UK from June to September.
