Explained: After US Exit From Afghanistan

President Biden has stated the withdrawal of all US troops from Afghanistan by September 11.

The statement which was given by President Joe Biden, that America will call back all its troops from Afghanistan by this September 11, 2021, which is the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Unlike the Trump Administration, which made its troops withdraw by May 1, Condition of the Taliban taking steps to block al-Qaeda or any other group from protecting them in Afghanistan, and agreeing to a talk on power-sharing with the Afghan Authorities.

The President's plan has no strings attached, there are about 2,500 to 3,500 US troops in Afghanistan at the present moment, plus a NATO force of under 8,000. An arrangement to pull out the troops is expected to begin soon.

The effect of this statement on various actors within Afghanistan and outside is bound to be important. It can be said with confidence that no country in the region will remain untouched.

Biden’s report has removed all reason for the Taliban to agree to a talk with the Afghan authorities. In a report on Thursday, the Taliban show as much: “ The Islamic Emirate will under no conditions ever relax on complete independence and formation of a pure Islamic system, and also remained committed to a peaceful solution to the Afghan problem following the complete and certain end of the occupation."

The Suggestion by the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in March is now almost failed. Which includes a 90-days peace talk under the help of the UN for a unity plan for Afghanistan among the US, Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran, and India; a meeting in Turkey between the Taliban and Afghan authorities towards an inclusive interim government, an agreement on the foundational principles of the future political order and for permanent peace.

Turkey has planned the talks on April 24th, and Biden’s Administration has said it will remain committed to finding a political solution. But the Taliban are now in a different area.

The Taliban stated clearly that the “American officials have understood the Afghan situation” but instead the withdrawal had been put off “ by many months” to September, rather than sticking to the Doha Agreement signed between Trump’s Administration’s special delegate Zalmay Khalilzad and the Taliban last March dated on May 1st.
