Mourinho Said That Ferguson Would really Disagree With Solskjaer’s Trophy Statement


The debate in the wake of the current Man United’s coach statement, where Tottenham’s manager said he believes that United’s Great would take his side for it.


Tottenham Coach Jose Mourinho says Manchester United’s legend Sir Alex Ferguson would really disagree with Ole Gunnar’s attitude towards winning trophies.




Since Mourinho’s time in charge, United has won the Europa League and League Cup, but their last Premier League win came during Ferguson’s last year in charge in the year 2013. The current United’s manager was caught saying that success in cup competitions is more of an ego thing for other managers, Solskjaer played down the significance of ending the Silverware Drought by his team.


What Has Been Said?  


When Mourinho was asked about Solskjaer's comments, he said It's his opinion, "I’m pretty sure that his big boss Sir Alex really had a very different opinion about it, But I would respect what Solskjaer Thinks about his team, I would think differently. Freedom of thinking, freedom of ideas and if that’s what he thinks is fine by me, it should not be a problem for me as he is not disrespectful to anyone else."


“But I would repeat that his big boss and the biggest in the Premier League history would have a different feeling in relation to that”.


Ferguson’s Man Utd Success :  


Before Ferguson took over at Old Trafford in 1986 and won plenty of trophies and cups in his 27 years reign, won three Scottish Premier Division titles and four Scottish Cups with Aberdeen. Sir Alex also won 13 Premier League titles, two Champions League crowns, five FA Cups, and four League Cups among other managers.


Former United’s striker Ole Gunnar was appointed as the United’s boss in the year 2018 when he replaced Jose Mourinho at the wheel, Where his side is in second place in the Premier League who are 14 points behind Manchester City, after already losing in the FA and the Carabao Cups, still have a chance to win the Europa League, where the Red Devil’s beat Granada 2-0 in the first leg of the quarter-finals.
