2021 is truly turning out in the favor of  Actress Alia Bhatt. She got great response after the teaser release of  Gangubai Kathiawadi and has got some major movies in her bag. She also took to her twitter handle on Sunday Night  to announce her own Production House, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Today on Monday both Alia and Shah Ruk Khan took to their social media handles and announced about their upcoming Collaboration titled as 'Darlings'. 

While posting the video of 'Darlings' on Instagram Alia quoted  "This one's special! Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent!

Starring the amazing @shefalishahofficial, @itsvijayvarma, @roshan.matthew Directed by @jasmeet_k_reen & produced by @gaurikhan, @_gauravverma."

Further, Shah Ruk Khan also tweeted "Life is tough Darlings, but so are you....both! 

Unleashing our #Darlings onto the world....Caution is advisable. PS : yeh comedy thodi dark hai..." and released the same Darling Video.

'Darlings' is the first production by Alia Bhatt where she will not only act but also play the role of a producer. Jasmeet K Reen will aslo debut as a director with this project.

It will be a dark comedy movie starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Roshan Matthew and Vijay Varma. According to the sources the movie will be based on a mother-daughter duo which will be played by Shefali and Alia. The story will portray their journey of searching through insane situations as they want to create a place for themselves in the world and how they discover courage and love in their unexpected circumstances. The story is set in the lower middle class society of Mumbai. 

'Darlings' is set to release by this year.
