Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) Achieved A Major Landmark By Exporting Two-million Vehicles

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has achieved a major landmark by exporting two million vehicles from domestic factories to international markets. Around 1986-1987 the first collection of vehicles were sent to Hungary it consisted of five hundred vehicles.

The company achieved this two-millionth landmark after a collection of S-Presso, Swift, and Vitara Brezza was shipped to South Africa via Mundra Port in Gujrat. 

In the year 2012-2013 Maruti Suzuki completed its first landmark by shipping One million vehicles to international markets of Europe. After that, the Company shifted its target towards the Potential markets of Latin America, Africa, and Asia regions.

Kenichi Ayukawa, MD, and CEO of (MSIL) stated that the company has been shipping vehicles for the past 34 years before India became a Leading Player in the Global automobile business as the early worldwide exposure helped the Company to enhance its quality and achieve a global benchmark. 

The CEO also stated that the Company also has a good grip over the markets of South Africa, Chile, and Indonesia. Models like Alto, Baleno, Dzire, and Swift are quite popular among the people of Chile. 

Maruti Suzuki has been shipping over 14 models in 150 variants to almost 100 countries. 

Ayukawa also claimed that Indian manufactured vehicles have gained more acceptance due to their global standards of quality, safety, design, and technology.

Maruti Suzuki's present plan is to fasten its production by enhancing the speed of product launches.
