New  WhatsApp Privacy Policy Update: Users Are Concerned And Switching To Other Messaging Apps



After the new update in WhatApp's Privacy and policy terms. Facebook's owned messaging app is facing a major backlash from everyone. It has been clarified that User's accounts won't be deleted but until they are accepting the policy update their accounts won't function properly.

The Company stated that the users will receive calls and notifications but won't be able to receive or send messages until they accept the policy update.
After receiving backlash from people, WhatsApp has postponed the policy update till the end of May. 
WhatsApp announced that they want their users to understand the features of the update properly as the changes in the policy have been done mostly for businesses.

As soon as Whatsapp announced the Policy update chaos went among the users. As people are concerned about their privacy and the amount of data that Whatsapp will be able to access through it. Many people have already switched to other messaging apps. In a survey, it has been seen that 5% of Indians have uninstalled WhatsApp after the announcement. 

Though, WhatsApp has clarified that Privacy and Security are still protected by them. End-to-end encryption will always be maintained. Neither WhatsApp nor Facebook can view the personal chats between the users that include private messages, calls, attachments, or locations. WhatsApp does not share contacts with Facebook.
