Ex-Big Boss Contender Ajaz Khan Has Been Arrested In A Drug Case After Interrogating A Drug Peddler Shadab Batata

An NCB Senior official announced the arrest of Actor cum ex-Big Boss contender Ajaz Khan in a drug case burst, he was arrested after landing at the city airport and was initially detained by the NCB zonal unit. The incident took place on Tuesday.

After the arrest of drug peddler Shadab Batata, he was interrogated by the NCB where he gave the name of the actor.

After the statement of the drug peddler, Khan was questioned accordingly by the NCB in their south Mumbai office where his statement was recorded very late on Tuesday night. 

After his role and examination in the crime, he was arrested at last by the NCB on late Tuesday night, the official said.

Sameer Wankhede who is the zonal head announced to conduct searches in and around the surrounding areas of Andheri and Lokhandwala on Tuesday in connection with the case.

While speaking to the press Ajaz Khan said that he was not arrested but he came himself to the NCB office to hand himself over.

As an actor, he has been working in Bollywood in movies as well as series like TV shows, like Big Boss and other shows.

Khan’s residence was also searched by the NCB, from where they collected banned tablets which is a drug that falls under the NDPS Act.

The search resulted in the recovery of 2kg of Mephedrone, cash of 1.15 lakhs, some foreign currency of countries like Iranian rials, Polish zloty, and Oman rials, and two cars which are a Toyota Fortuner and a Hyundai i20.
