BHARAT BANDH ON 26 FEB: CAIT CALLS FOR BHARAT BAND 

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has said all commercial markets will remain close tomorrow (26th Feb, Friday). They have called for the Bharat Bandh due to the increasing fuel prices, E-bill, Goods, and Services Tax (GST).




General Secretary of (CAIT) Praveen Khandelwal has stated that all commercial markets all over India will remain closed and, protests (dharnas) will be arranged in different cities of all states.
40,000 traders' associations in India will be taking part in this Bandh.
The All India Transporters Welfare Association (AITWA) has also shown support in this Band and has requested all Transport Companies to keep their vehicles parked from 6 am till 8 pm as they will be carrying out a chakka jam tomorrow (Friday). Around 40 Lakh trucks will not hit the road tomorrow. 

Protests will be held across 1,500 towns/cities. Bandh supporters have pledged to the Government to pull back the heavy taxes bestowed upon fuel prices and make them stable all around India. All commercial markets will stay closed. Chartered Accountants, Tax Advocates, Traders, Small-scale industries, Hawkers will be joining in the Bandh, as well.
