In KKR’s Opening Win With The Help Of Our Stars, Rana, Tripathi, And Prasidh

KKR’s quick produced the big wickets and their spinners stifled the SunRisers Hyderabad batsmen, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to pull out the first successful win in the IPL 2021 despite a blip towards the end of their innings.

They managed just 42 runs in their last five overs, but 145 runs for 1 wicket in the first 15 overs proved to be good enough on a dry pitch, which our bowlers utilized.

Eighty-or-nothing Nitish Rana had that eighty night on a track that did not support his weakness, whether it was short and fast bowling, Rahul Tripathi scored an attacking fifty despite not batting at the position he normally does, instead, he opened the batting for KKR.

They also defended about 20 few runs than what they looked out good for, the fast bowlers of the Knight Riders produced a brilliant spell where they took all the big wickets and the spinners choked the SunRisers Hyderabad batsmen to take the game away from SRH.

Prasidh Krishna took the wicket of David Warner early, Bairstow help in chasing for the SunRisers with 55 runs in 40 balls, but in the 13th over Cummins took the wicket of Bairstow leaving Manish Pandey with a giant score to catch up to where their needed 86 runs from 42 balls, which was not good for him.

SunRisers Err, Rana Cashes In.

SunRisers have built their successful model on dry pitches, but this did not help in beating the KKR’s lads as they played with brilliance with the bat as well as the bowl which had SunRisers Hyderabad in a fix.

Tripathi came out with a flow aim to play his heart out when he was seen against Nabi’s turn to hit him for a six over long-off. Rana and Tripathi kept on battling the SRH bowlers where their both batted together for eight great overs.

The two of them went for half-centuries where only one made it but it was 145 runs for 1 wicket in the 15th over, with still Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan still waiting in the stands to come in made the Knight Riders set to bat the SunRisers out of the game.
