ICICI Bank Announced Free Vaccination For Their Employees And Dependent Family Members 


For the employees of ICICI bank and their family members, for the time of COVID, the bank will provide vaccination of COVID-19 free of cost, said by ICICI bank on Wednesday. Millions of people who live global have already been affected during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic the bank said. They have decided to safeguard the lives of their employees and dependent family members.


“ICICI Bank truly appreciates and recognizes the efforts showcased by all its employees during the ongoing pandemic. Team ICICI with time has again emerged with renewed strength and responded to their call of duty to serve the nation as an essential service. They have been inspiring throughout the tough times of the recent pandemic with their unbreakable spirit and passion for service.” said the Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. T.K. Srirang.


The health and well-being of employees and their family members are also especial for the bank, said from the bank side. The bank will pay the cost of both mandated vaccine shots.


“Once again, we thank all our employees for fulfilling their duties to the best of their capabilities, despite the challenges thrown at them by the pandemic,” Srirang said after he says that the bank has attempted this action to safeguard each of its employees and their family member against the COVID-19 pandemic.


 Companies like Capgemini, TVS Motor, and Flipkart are also among the other organization that took the initiative to pay the full cost of the (COVID-19) vaccination for their employees. 


Reliance Industries Limited, IT major Infosys, is an outsourcing and advising services provider. They were among the first companies to provide the vaccination to their employees. Then, Accenture also came up and said that they will also cover the vaccination cost for their employees in (INDIA).


Currently, India is in the second stage of its vaccination run. People above the age of 60 along with those between 45 or 59 with co-morbidities are eligible to register and get the anti-COVID-19 jab. In the first stage, all the frontline, healthcare and, sanitation workers were vaccinated on January 16. 


2.30 crore of anti-COVID vaccines is already carried out to people in India according to the government figure till, Tuesday morning. Over the past 24hr, India reported another connection of 17,921, when 133 more people lost their lives to the contagion, taking the death toll to (1,58,063), according to the Union Health Ministry.
