First-time Virtual Education Model by Delhi Government, to Make Education Accessible Anywhere in India

Delhi Government is going to introduce a new kind of virtual education which can be conducted in any part of India as well as any part of the globe. Last Tuesday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced this news. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the students are taking classes online, keeping this in mind Delhi, CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken this initiative called the Virtual model of education.




According to Sisodia, it is the first virtual school in the world and a form of education that is accessible to a student from anywhere in the country or the world. It is a kind of school where there will be no building but there will be students, teachers, tests, study materials, etc, said Sisodia, who made the budget for the academic year 2021 around over sixteen thousand crores. 

The government has already started working on the design of the virtual model school and it would be on an experimental level. The school is expected to start the session by the next academic year based on the principle of anywhere living, anytime tested, first online virtual school. Anyone can take the education under the Delhi curriculum model. According to Sisodia, we need to choose the best technology under any critical circumstances in the field of education.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that it is a classroom without four walls and, he wants to create the world’s first virtual Delhi Model School. According to Kejriwal, it is a “Dream Project.”

Teachers are ready to start and give lessons without any training through online classes. They have to do it in the best possible way to promote this kind of virtual school using the best technology, he also added.
