Apple Starts Making 5G Enabled iPhone 12 In India

When it comes to android phones, we all are excited, especially in the case of the iPhone. US-based Giant Company Apple is the only company manufacturer of iPhone designed by Steve Jobs. Whenever Apple is going to launch a new product, there is excitement, day by day as we are emerging into the competition in the telecom industry, new gadgets are inventing in every corner of the globe. To operate and run these gadgets online remotely or a high-speed internet connection is required. At first 2G, 3G, 4G now, 5G has come down to scenario.

Foxconn is a Taiwanese contract manufacturer, the Indian unit of Apple will assemble the device near Chennai. Last October 2020, Apple had launched four smartphones under iPhone 12. Now they have announced to start making 5 G-enabled iPhone 12 in India and the first iPhone to be assembled here with the fastest mobile chip. After the introduction of the iPhone 11 in 2019, just after one year, Apple started manufacturing the iPhone 12 in India.

In the year 2017, Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India with iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and now iPhone 12. It is the sixth iPhone introduced in India that will be sold locally, said Apple.

In terms of price iPhone, 12 (64GB) will cost around Rs 79.900 in India and, in the US, it starts around $904, roughly Rs 13,900 more due to taxes and tariffs. It is not that the iPhone 12 price will immediately decrease just because manufacturing will happen in India. But yes price may drop down in the mid of 2021.
