Amazon Prime Video Celebrates The International Women’s Day by Releasing A Webseries By Sonakshi Sinha

On International Women’s Day, the Amazon Prime Video celebrates 'The power of women' by releasing The first look of Sonakshi Sinha’s series, where she plays the role of the police officer. The series is produced by producer Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, along with Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, and directed by Ruchika Oberoi, and Reema Kagti.

The picture shows Sonakshi standing on a railway track with her arms crossed while looking at the camera.




Sonakshi will enter the OTT Platform with this series. Still, there is no date or any further details about the series. After the vast success of series like Sacred Games, A-listers are making a move to web series.


Sonakshi Sinha wrote in a post on Instagram, “There’s no limit to what women can accomplish. Our collective belief in this has only been reinforced time and again. And on the eve of #WomensDay, we’re taking girls to get it done! Coming soon to serve and protect on @PrimeVideoIN”.



One of the first to react to Sonakshi is Zaheer Iqbal who has been linked to her in the past. Zaheer dropped ‘hand raised in the air’ and fire emojis in the post. “Madame I didn’t do anything illegal Madame..sorry Madame”, Huma Qureshi quipped. “oye hoyeeee @aslisona zabardast!!!” wrote by Manish Paul. 


 Sonakshi will be next seen in Bhuj: The Pride of India, Abhishek Dudhaiya’s war-drama. Set during the India-Pakistan war of (1971), the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Sharad Kelkar, Nora Fatehi, and Ammy Virk. It is set for direct digital release on (Disney+Hotstar).


Dabangg 3 is the last movie on the big screen where we have seen Sonakshi playing the role of (RajjoPandey) opposite Salman Khan. The film that marked the debut of Saiee Manjrekar failed to live up to the box office expectations.
