TAMIL NADU ISSUED NEW GUIDELINES FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS

On the increasing verge of COVID-19 cases, Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Department have issued new travel guidelines for both international and domestic passengers.

Tamil Nadu has issued mandatory E-pass for international and domestic travelers, except the travelers of Puducherry, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. In the newly modified rules, business travelers do not have to follow the home quarantine rule, in case the trip is only for 72 hours or less than three days.

International travelers, traveling from the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Brazil to Tamil Nadu need to submit their test samples at the Tamil Nadu airport. The travelers who are tested negative at other airports should also need to follow these rules.

Before traveling to India, travelers from Europe and the Middle East, have to submit their Self-Declaration Form on the Air Suvidha Portal. They also have to submit their travel history of the last 14 days before coming to the country. Also, they should get an RT-PCR test done, and carry their COVID-19 test results. The test should be done within three days (72 hours) before traveling to India.

As we all know that in many states the COVID-19 cases are rising, and the death bar is also rising. So currently, more and more states are now issuing new guidelines.
