FOR 4 DAYS BANKS WILL REMAIN CLOSE, STARTING FROM TODAY




In some parts of the country, the banks will remain closed from April 13th (today) till April 16th (Friday) for many festivals, according to the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) holiday calendar. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, these holidays are declared. The holidays depend on the festivals observed in a particular state. 


On 13th April, Banks Remain Closed.


On the occasion of Telugu New Year's Day, 1st Navratra, Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba), Baisakhi, Gudhi Padwa, and Gudhi Padwal   


The banks will be closed in Jammu, Panaji, Nagpur, Srinagar, Mumbai, Belapur, Imphal, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.  


On 14th April, Banks Remain Closed.


On the occasion of Bohag Bihu, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Cheiraoba, Tamil New Year's, Vishu, and Biju Festival. 


The banks will be closed in- Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Agartala, Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Srinagar, Belapur, Patna, Bengaluru, Panaji, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Chennai, Mumbai, Dehradun, Lucknow, Gangtok, Kolkata, Guwahati, Kochi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Imphal, and Jammu.           


On 15th April Banks Remain Closed.


On the occasion of Bengali New Year’s Day, Sarhul, Himachal Day, Bohag Bihu  


The banks will be closed in Kolkata, Shimla, Agartala, Ranchi, and Guwahati. 


On 16th April Banks Remain Closed.


In Guwahati, banks will be closed on April 16th for the festival of Bohag Bihu


Banks will also be closed on April 21 and April 14 for the Ram Navmi and 2nd Saturday.
