BTS WILL MAKE HISTORY BY BEING THE ONLY K-POP BAND TO PERFORM SOLO ON GRAMMY 2021 


BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) becomes the first-ever K-pop group to have a solo stage at the Grammy. Music’s biggest night, Grammys 2021 on March 14. BTS is all set to take over the Grammys stage.


“We’ll be back” - said BTS in the 2020 Grammys.

On March 7, the announcement was made on Recording Academy’s page."It's going to be dynamite! Watch BTS (@BTS_twt) bring the fire and set the night alight at the #GRAMMYs. You don't want miss their performance March 14th at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on @CBS: #ARMY." the tweet read.


This will be BTS’s first solo stage at Grammy night. BTS was also nominated for their first Grammy, Best Duo/Group Performance for their single “DYNAMITE,” which also ranked No. 1.  on Billboard's Hot 100. 

It was BTS’s dream to be nominated. BTS the, record breaking-making group, already made history as the first-ever K-pop group to be nominated. BTS’s two wishes get fulfilled by getting a nomination and their own stage.

BTS is also performing at the pre-Grammy event MusiCares on March 12. This was BTS’ third appearance at the Grammys. Last year, they also performed the ‘Old Town Road’ remix stage with Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Nas, and more. BTS’ will mark their appearance as the first solo performance at Grammys this year, they’ve been wishing for this to happen for years.

BTS has set the bar really high for the virtual performances with grandeur sets, VFX, and powerful live vocals, so now the expectations for BTS Grammys performance are quite high.

We’re just a week away from the 63rd Grammys. A list of performers includes BTS, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Post Malone, Cardi B, Dababy, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, John Mayer, Chris Martin, Haim, Bad Bunny, and Black Pumas.
